Taking a vacation at the end of the year and going to an exotic destination is an excellent way to both close out a year and to ring in a new year.  Having a great time and bringing back fond memories from a year-end vacation really generate sheer momentum that carries me through the first half of the following year.  This year has been an example of that.  Taking a vacation at the midpoint of a year is a great way to reenergize and be rejuvenated for the second half of the year.  Keep up the momentum and tell better stories!
